Freedom 35 (2020)

I was supposed to start on a new ep at the amazing Old Bear Studio in Batavia, NY, when the unprecedented times struck. So instead, I took some other demos/earlier starts and turned them into these at home. Safe and sound physically, not so much mentally. Hard to bounce ideas and suggestions off myself. I’d be disgusted with my bad ideas, skeptical of my good ones, and clueless of the difference between the two. Excited to have done it though. The real ep should be done by the end of year, provided we don’t start a civil war by then.

Out Of The Silent Nest (2012)

The main thing that I stand behind when it comes to this album is that I did it. It was a very deep and personal goal of mine to release a full album of my own, and this was me jumping into the shark infested sewer-waters of my deep and personal goals. Never the easiest thing in the world. But I think those are the best things to try and go for - the not the easiest things. Trying plus failing equals growth. Multiplied by persistence equals success. Divided by life equals not so much, but you get that remainder of progress. Should I try and get that in a fortune cookie? ¿Or start a Rican version, fortune pastelillos? I smell fail.

The First Joke (2010)

The First Joke & Other Matters was a split album I did with one of my brothers in noise, Jeff Martin. My first ever attempt at recording my own music outside of This Day & Age and Kindo. Probably my favorite songs of mine - but I’m working on my it-all-goes-down-from-here attitude, so I’ll say my favorite songs of mine YET. I talk a lot about myself on this site. If I ever start to do this in person, please slap me. With my own hand.
